WHY I'M PHASING OUT WHITE SAGE...
Most of us probably became familiar with the use of a white sage "smudge" wand as our first foray into clearing bad energy in a space. I know that was my first energetic hygiene tool way back when. (I think I grabbed in the same time frame I was purchasing spell books from Barnes & Noble.) It is so popular that the word sage his somehow become synonymous with smoke clearing as if there are no other items available. While I am grateful for the introduction, I know fifteen years later, that it is not a fix all item. (And those bookstore spells - just, nope.) When we gather new information we should act on it. WE ALL NEED MONEY, HONEY.
Today is all about abundance, prosperity, and MONEY. We all need it! A lot like the other altar post, please take my practices as loose suggestions - all work you do is personal. Folk magic is flexible due to the fact our ancestors had to use what they had on hand. Your intentions as well as your actions to improve your situation are most important! -

I wanted to share a really quick glimpse at some simple ways to pull together a self love altar in your space. Remember that altars don't have to look a particular way. Your practice doesn't have to look like anyone's but your own!

ENERGETIC HYGIENE
Peace can't just spring up from a mess. Magic made on top of residual negativity? I don't get down like that. My granny used to say, "You can't go putting perfume on to cover up an unwashed body." (Cause ewe.) Same concept! Clean your aura, clean your floor, clean your walls, clean your tools. Let's talk about how... -
I'M NEW HERE.
I thank y’all who have been rocking with me since I first set out to become an herbalist and began offering my goods for sale. There are some new things here as well as some old favs! I’m going to be blogging here frequently so not everything gets crammed into an Instagram post. I want to share more about how to utilize herbal allies to improve your mind, body, and spirit. I’m feeling good about having a place to do that.
