Palo santo is one of my favorite methods for cleansing myself, my space, crystals, and ritual items. It is a fantastic energetic hygiene tool for daily use. Where sage or dragon's blood will remove energy, this holy wood uplifts the spirit and calms the mind. It adds vitality and sweetness to your environment vs taking something away. A tip for when you have burnt your palo santo stick down to a nub... don't throw it away! Burn the last bit on a charcoal round. You will have the most serene space and fully respect this magical plant ally but using it all.
*In the past I have sold palo santo in packs if the sticks were slim. These sticks of palo santo are chunky so I am offering them individually. These are an absolute dream and have such a lovely smolder/scent. Photograph of multiples + botanicals/crystals are for merchandising purposes only.
"Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. In Spanish, the name literally means “Holy Wood”. It is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon. Palo Santo is enjoyed by many for its energetically cleansing and healing properties similar to Sage and Cedar. It is a strong medicine that has been popularized for its heavenly presence in keeping energies grounded and clear. It provides an uplifting scent that raises your vibration in preparation for meditation and allows for a deeper connection to the Source of all creation. It is also said that Palo Santo enhances creativity and brings good fortune to those who are open to its magic. Use a candle, match or lighter to ignite your stick of Palo Santo. Hold at about a 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame. Allow it to burn for about 30 secs to 1 minute and then blow out. Move about your workspace, home, car, bathroom or anywhere you would like to clear the energy. The rich smell will also bring peace and clarity to the moment along with good feelings . When finished, place the stick in a fire proof bowl of metal, glass or clay. The glow will end on its own unless you blow on the ember which will keep the smoke going. Always use caution and respect when working with fire." (Info c/o "Palo Santo Benefits")
