A classic example of the art of rope incense where raw incense powder is twisted into ropes of handmade paper. I love the woodsy, masculine scent these provide!
Below is the description on the wrapper:
"This is a traditional Nepalese rope incense (Joss-sticks,) made up of twisting the powder incense into Nepali paper by hand. It is prepared by the Nepali household women. While burning this incense the Nepalese believe that the god & goddess of ancient times enjoys a lot with this smell, why don't you try once, as the people have been using this incense from the ancient time till now. The Juniper Powder is wrapped in the rice paper."
All natural with no wooden sticks, glues, or dyes. Easily burnt on a bed of sand or salt. (This pack comes with a completely useless (for this type of incense) holder. Please do not use it to burn this- it is more suited for sticks! I am not taking them out of the packages but want to let you know I would not use it since it would be messy + dangerous. You could burn the surface it is placed on.) Handmade in Nepal according to a traditional Buddhist formula.
I find this scent incredibly soothing. The burn time is long enough to fill my space but short enough that I don't have to worry about having a whole hour to make sure it is out before I go about my business.
*You will receive ONE package of Juniper incense as shown above. Photograph of multiples + botanicals/crystals are for merchandising purposes only. I realize there are less sticks in the package for the same price as the other brand but due to the different suppliers they are the same cost to me. Thank you for understanding.
Please utilize smoke cleansing implements with great care! Look up best practices for safely burning, extinguishing, and storing.
