Everyone has heard of an Aperol Spritz but have you ever had an ITALIAN GREYHOUND? (If not, please fix that!) This aroma profile encompasses the cool, bright, refreshing essence of my favorite summer cocktail. This is a wonderful kitchen candle for that post clean cherry on top.
SCENT:
Juicy grapefruit. Coarse sugar. Rolled rosemary. Fresh mint.
DETAILS:
Hand poured, performance cotton wick, vegan wax blend. 7 oz = 35-40 hours of burn time.
Tips for getting the most of your candle...
*Burn your new candle at least 2-3 hours the first time you light it. This will allow the entire top layer of wax to liquify and promote a clean burn that doesn't waste wax. This prevents tunneling of your candle. Wax has a memory so start off right!
*Do not leave a burning candle unsupervised, near kiddos, or surrounded by flammable objects. I also keep my candles away from the wall. Do not burn over four hours at a time. Safety first!
*Before relighting your candle trim.the.wick. (Every time.) I cannot overstate the importance of this! The correct length is 1/4-1/8 of an inch. I snagged a handy wick trimmer for just this purpose. Seriously such a crucial item for preventing soot and prolonging candle life. You can also use your fingers and pinch the blackened little "mushroom" off between burns so don't let lack of a wick trimmer stop you. Lighting the untrimmed wick will lead to smoke and a hotter than desirable burn which is dangerous and depletes your candle faster.
